How do we develop a personal vision? With the advent of digital photography, everyone has become a "photographer" yet there are few who really see and create images that are compelling and dynamic. In this course, we will work with each participant to help them develop his or her unique vision; the workshop involve a capture to presentation approach and will culminate the development of a single image that will be a visual gift to us all.

There are two separate but interrelated processes: the first is being both conscious of what we choose to include in our viewfinder and equally important, what we choose to exclude. Secondly, once we have captured an image that speaks to us, what enhancements we can make using the tools of digital photography to either augment or transform the image so it coincides with the intention we had when we chose to click the shutter.

The two and a half day workshop will focus on formal instructions, portfolio reviews, photography session and hands on post production and guarantees to be highly inspired and exciting.

Workshop participants will be limited to eight participants with four instructors; a one-to-two ratio. The staff consists of two primary instructors and two guest instructors providing decades of photographic experience.

Preferred Experience: Participants should possess a strong desire to learn and have a fundamental knowledge of Photoshop, including selection tools, layers and masks.

Instructors: Robert Kato, Mark Tuschman, Marvin Wax and Larry Stueck
Workshop Fee: $495 (Fee includes lab fees and meals during course of workshop)
